6 Would be Fantastic. Anything over that would be a little ridiculous (sorry guys).

We have 3 computers and 3 copies of this game-I think the $180+ we shelled out for this game entitles us to at least 1 more character slot each. But, if they give it to us in an Expansion, I'd be more than happy to wait! Anet's been doing a great job keeping up with what we want.

note: the third GW player we have in the house is asleep atm, so I can't sign for him.

However, I agree with the above. Asking them to double the amount of storage on their computers is a bit much.

This idea has been talked about alot, I REALLY believe they will implement this on the first expansion. Dont go spreading rumors now, thats just what one moron thinks.

Exactly, I agree, 4 is just way too little. With six proffessions, why only 4 slots? It should be six at least, maybe more.

I think we should have to pay $5 per slot.

The only use I would have for more character slots is using them as mules, and that isn't really a big issue. As stated before, you have a three slots to unlock everything, and one for pvp, perfect

The problem is, I really did not want to play a combination of Ranger and Elementalist. I had the choice of either doing what I WANT to play, or being forced to make a class combination I dont want simply to unlock skills for all classes on my account. If I want to play an E/Mo and a Mo/Me I should be able to. But with only 4 slots, and one absolutely needed for PvP test builds, as well as my Wa/Ne, I will never be able to unlock ranger skills until an expansion comes out. That sucks.

I say there should be a limit of 4 caracters for each type of gaming. 4 for PvE, 4 for PvP

i think the 4 character limit is perfect, i like that number, and it makes sense, GW is advertised as being a PvP game, and therefor it would be natural to have 4, 3 PvE characters to unlock stuff, and 1 changing PvP character, with 3 PvE characters, you can unlock every skill in the game.

if they were to change it, the next logic numbers would be 7. one character with each proffession as primary and one changing

Let me guess... you didnt read people's posts in this thread?

3 PvE characters isnt enough for -everyone- to unlock skills for -every- class, if they still need one slot for PvP test builds. Some people dont want to play some class combinations, or want to play the same class twice as a subclass with different primaries.

One could argue that we just need two characters since we can switch secondary profession ... its not a valid reason.

4 slots are few since when people end up in a guild they start to realize there is a shortage of some classes and there is the need to have characters to fill the void, there is the need for warriors and monks so the guild can help new members to pass certain areas of the game.

Same goes with PvP.

Honestly, i would like it to at least 6. I already made 3 characters i really like, and had to delete 1 i liked a "little bit", due to the lack of space. I usually like to keep 1 slot free for a pvp character to train on. Anyho, im not really sure if it will raise lag to the game, but im hoping it wont. Yeah..4 spaces seem like a lot, but when you get deeper, you seem to need more.

/DOUBLE SIGNED!

I've already had to delete three characters I still wanted because I'm still trying everything out, two of which had already passed Kryta...

I hope that info about more slots with an expansion is true, but I'll still sign here anyway...

Auroe Titan E/Me (deleted)
